We have new fields in the MLS to share ADU data.  You will find in the main fields when entering or editing a listing “Accessory Dwelling Unit” Y/N as a mandatory field. It’s important field, because when you select YES, a whole new box of options will become available to you to describe this ADU in more detail.

Identifying ADU information is an important step in sharing all important details of the offer for sale – and incredibly helpful for appraisers when looking at valuations and creating appraisal reports for regional clients.  We are on the cusp of learning how ADU’s will impact a homes resale value, and good data helps you and our appraisal partners perfect this process. Remember too that using photographs and additional documents or remarks is a great way to share all of the details you have available on secondary dwelling spaces included with the primary home.
