Berkshire Realtors Don their Tool Belts for Women Build in the Berkshires

Berkshire Realtors from across Berkshire County strapped on their tool belts for Central Berkshire Habitat For Humanity’s fourth annual Women Build in the Berkshires. On May 20th, 2015, ten Berkshire Realtors came together at the project-site on Francis Avenue to donate their time and labor to the rehabilitation of a large home for a mother, grandmother, and four children.

It will take a few months for the Francis Avenue home to be move-in ready and it is only being partially renovated by women as part of the Women Build. Upon completion, this will be Central Berkshire Habitat For Humanity’s 28th home. Habitat’s Women Build in the Berkshires challenges women to come together and devote at least one day to address poverty housing in the Berkshires. Women are integral to helping families achieve their dream of having a safe, affordable place to live. Our Berkshire Realtors were proud to have been able to make a small but lasting impact on the lives of one Berkshire family. Special thanks to Trustco Bank for providing all of the builders with breakfast and lunch!!    Thank you REALTORS who participated in the build: Rose Schnopp, Cindy Poulin, Victoria Ross, Natalie Rose Weissbrod, Barb Osborne, Kristie Peck, Leslie Luppino, Wendy Smith, Rebecca Cellana, and Sarah Fleury
