Barbara Osborne Named REALTOR Volunteer of the YEAR!

We’re so happy to announce that Barbara Osborne of Ashmere Realty, Past Board President and current Western MA Regional Representative for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS has been selected as the 2019 REALTOR of the YEAR for Berkshire County!  She has dedicated hours and hours of service to the local, state and national associations of REALTORS and has helped us champion home-ownership rights and serve our industry.  You can send congratulation to BAOsborne@aol.com: or on Facebook or to ASHMERE REALTY, INC. PO BOX 966, HINSDALE, MA 01235. Barbara has worked on a local level for many years, and led the association as Berkshire REALTOR’s Board President in 2013. This is the second time she has received the REALTOR of the Year award, first in 2014.  While we see many volunteers who give so much, it is wonderful to recognize someone who continues to give to all levels of the Realtor organization with the same passion and dedication over the span of many years.

In 2018, Barbara was awarded one of only two ‘REALTOR SPIRIT’ awards awarded by the Berkshire Board. The REALTOR Spirit award is given to the REALTOR that consistently demonstrates the ideals that embody the very meaning of the term “REALTOR®”. The person is an unsung hero within the real estate profession who supports other industry practitioners through actions, words and cooperation. Recipients are known for their strong professional ethics and willingness to go above and beyond in support of the association and the members.

We are proud to put forth this application for consideration of State REALTOR of the YEAR.  She will be honored at the MAR Conference Awards Banquet and at our Annual Meeting in September.
