Berkshire community.

He was elected by Berkshire County real estate brokers to serve as the 2010 President of the Multiple Listing Service corporation. In that role, Mark worked on enhancing services for the local real estate professionals. He led the creation of a new listing syndication marketing platform for listing exposure across the internet to benefit Realtors, seller and buyers. Mark also worked on the search and lease negotiation committee for the new association staff offices and education conference center.

Over the course of two years, he worked tirelessly on the REALTOR Property Resource initiative to determine if Berkshire agents would benefit from an affiliation. Behind the scenes, Mark was equally involved on critical committees that were charged with strengthening the association at all levels. His leadership includes service on the Realtor Board of Directors, as well as Finance, Investment, Personnel, and Professional Standards Committees. He was responsible for keeping the MLS relevant and member-centric, including leading the Board of Directors to work on contract and forms revisions, software updates, social media and governance.

In the Berkshire community, you can find Mark working with Dalton Youth Football Juniors, Little League Baseball and on the Youth Football Association Board of Directors. He is a member of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, Dalton Benefit Association, Dalton Light up the Holidays Committee, served on the Board of Trustees at the Congregational Church in Dalton from 2004 to 2008, and is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Marianne Inn Condominiums.As MLS President, Mark was the Berkshire County representative at the National Association of REALTORS NAR Midyear Legislative Meetings in Washington DC in 2010. There he was charged to learn about emerging trends, represent the Berkshire region and bring information and resources back to the membership. Having gained knowledge and information through his service, Mark gives back by volunteering at the New Member Orientation program teaching on MLS and safety topics. He also spoke at the Annual Meeting of the Membership, at the Annual Installation of Officers meetings and to the membership at various meetings throughout the year.

Mark graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelors degree in marketing, holds a real estate brokers license and obtained his certified buyers representative (CBR) certification. He resides in Hinsdale with his wife Kelly, and his three children; McKenna, Max, and Shea.
